Ding Dong. The seminars are dead

It’s over! Whoopee! No more seminars! Well, atleast till Sept 10th. That’s when we have TechTalk. What is that you ask - Nothing much. A whole bunch of students from various colleges come to our college. You see, techtalk is a seminar competition. Usually, the guys are chosen on the basis of the seminars that they have just given. And there are only two students allowed per college.

Can’t believe it’s finally over. But then the end did not come too easily. We sat through three seminars and then the bomb dropped. Before the last two seminars could begin, we would have to sit through a 1.5 hour lecture on .NET! So, we did what we do best - we ran. Fled actually. Though like smart students, we put in our attendance first :)

What else..I think God has forgotten to turn off the tap in this city. I mean, it rained so much that all the rivers, lakes, streams, dams, canals, buckets, glasses, thimbles are all flooded! And the situation of the roads - here in India, we make roads out of this material that is partly soluble in rain water. Thus, when you drive, you see places where the vitriolic rain water has eaten through the good roads our municipality so manfully tries to maintain.

On a more personal note, I went to pick my sis from college today. Just returned as a matter of fact. I have probably breathed in an equivalent of 10 packets of cigs. Man, is the air bad. Have a headache just from driving and breathing. And I’m infinitely grateful to God that I was driving my bike and not the car. Else this post would have come up a couple of hours later.

Anyway, need to go clear my head. Take care all….
