Slow day..
Dad and I joined swimming at a pool that’s opened up nearby. It’s a two minute walk from our house - and this is one form of exercise I really enjoy. Good fun.
The mercury is soaring in Pune these days with afternoon temperatures in the 40’s. Don’t know whether to ask for a breeze or not - the afternoon winds are dry and hot. If there’s no breeze, the air is so still and hot that it feels like you are in an oven - even your clothes feel hot. My advice - drink a lot of water. It’s really important. The heat here is a dry heat - unlike mumbai, where you perspire and know that there is water loss from the body. There are many cases of sunstroke in this city.
