This fox seems hungry!
There seems to be some problem with my copy of Firefox (seeing that I haven’t seen this problem reported anywhere else) - it’s a memory hog. Big time.
I’ve been keeping a track and have seen that when it first starts, it takes up around 6Mb of memory. Continue using it normally - i.e opening multiple links in tabs, genereal surfing and maybe thrown in a download into the mix (though I haven’t seen this have much of an effect) and the memory usage jumps upto 8-fold.
Right now, firefox is using 41,524K of memory. I’m pretty sure that’s high for a browser. Also, once it takes up all this memory, there seems to be a sluggishness to the browser - pages do not load, nor do they refresh. All in all the browser seems to be stuck in limbo.
Closing all instances of the browser does free the memory, but once restarted, the process simply repeats. I’ve been seeing this behaviour from the 1.0.0 to 1.0.2 releases - and I’m not sure whether this is a problem on my system or if it is a browser error - though I have heard that firefox does have a memory leak error.

just for control, run opera or netscape to see the memory comparison? on my mac, firefox with 12 tabs open takes up 57 MB of memory, but certainly doesn’t seem slow.

I skim a lot of blogs, and so far yours is in the Top 3 of my list of favorites. I’m going to dive in and try my hand at it, so wish me luck.
It’ll be in a totally different area than yours (mine is about michael thurmond 6 week body makeover) I know, it sounds strange, but it’s like anything, once you learn more about it, it’s pretty cool. It’s mostly about michael thurmond 6 week body makeover related articles and subjects.

Alot of interesting comments on this blog, I was searching for some doctor related info and some how came across this site. I found it pretty cool, so I bookmarked. I’ll really liked the second post on the front page, that got my attention.
My site is in a bit different area, but just as useful. I have a total body makeover by bob greene related site focusing on total body makeover by bob greene and mens health related topics.
