Take the Geek Test

Well, I came across this test on a link from Digg . It’s a little long - and as the title states, it rates your geekiness.

I managed a score of 28.79684% which puts me somewhere between a Total Geek and a Major Geek (closer to Total Geek).

Think my score was a little low due to my hate of coding. Ah well.

Do put up your scores and pass on the test.

Adios!

The RIAA’s nightmare!

It looks like some gnomes in Sweden are working on a way to share music wirelessly among mobile devices.

From the site :

“Push!Music currently runs on WiFi-enabled PDAs and allows users to actively recommend songs by sending (or “pushing”) music to other users in the proximity. Users can also get spontaneous music recommendations as songs recommend themselves: songs that either come from your own music collection or from another user’s device nearby! ”

Considering the “state” of the recording industry, with the large amounts of “revenue” lost via P2P software, I presume the RIAA will react very strongly against this kind of technology.

More information can be found on the Push!Music site (though details are still sparse at the moment)

Later!
